Do you have internet access?

Yes. Flowing Wells Road is an internet hot spot. If you have a wireless device, the flowing wells WIFI will show as a network to connect to. Click on it and it will bring you to a WEB site where you can purchase access by the day or week. Daily useage runs about $8/day.

Do you have city utilities?

No, we have septic and a well. So please do not flush any feminine products or excessive toilet paper down the toilet. It can ruin your trip. Yuk. We provide a large bottle of water, but we suggest if you are big water drinkers to bring a case of bottled water.

What is your parking like?

You can park up to 4 vehicles and a boat. Please park on the rocks, not on the grass. If you must park something on the grass please ask Dave first.

What about Air conditioning?

Yes we have A/C. Separate a/c is available for each bedroom in the Fishak and there is also a large a/c unit in for the main living area. The StarShak has central air. We ask that you turn off a/c when you are away in order to keep lodging rates low. It cools down fast.

Can we build an outside fire?

Yes, you are welcome to build a fire in the fire pits on the property as long as we do not have a burn ban in effect. Please do not leave the fire unattended, and if you go to bed, make sure the fire is out first. We have a hose that will reach to the fire pits.

Do you provide towels?

Yes, but the towels are for the bath room only and should not be used for cleaning, or taken out of the shaks.

What do we need to do when we depart?

When you leave, strip the beds and put the dirty sheets in a pile with the dirty towels. Bag all trash and put in the drive way on the rocks. Please put all dishes in the dishwasher and start the washer. Pick up and put away any toys you used. If you leave it like you found it you get back all of your cleaning deposit.

Can I bring dogs?

Dogs are welcome but they must be kept Outside. If your dog runs away you will need to keep it tethered. Do not let your dog chase the neighbor’s cows. There are coyotes, so do not let them loose at night. Please clean up any piles before you leave.
